Thin walled metal hose (often called quick flange fittings) contain a circumferential clamp and centering ring that form the vacuum seal between the connection flanges. Hose is constructed of corrosive resistant stainless steel, and centering ring contains a rubber elastomer o-ring. This type of metal hose is often used in foreline vacuum plumbing and process systems.
